Outdoor Cooling

About Us

AllOutCool.com was born from my own frustration with trying to find outdoor cooling solutions for my home.

I'd spent most of my life near the coast with it's mild weather. But when I moved further inland with its lower prices, I was hit with its higher temperatures. I grew to dread the summers and month after month of heat I was unprepared to face.

I started searching the internet to learn what my options were for keeping cool outdoors.

Most sites were clearly interested only in selling their products. Many had very little information. Some sites offered information that contradicted other sites. Who to believe? I did find a few sites that had a lot of information, but it was written in such a technical way that I couldn't understand it. But no solutions I could feel confident in purchasing.

Instead of finding a solution and some relief from the heat, I found frustration and another unbearably hot summer.

But I have pulled together a lot of information in the process on almost everything related to keeping cool outdoors. I've learned why some sites contradict others. I've learned that some methods shouldn't be used in some situations. I've learned technical details I couldn't begin to understand a year ago and have wrestled with making it understandable to others like me.

I've also come away with a strong desire to help others avoid the same frustration and hours and hours of searching. This site draws on everything I've learned and am continuing to learn, and knowledge from experts in the field of outdoor cooling.

I hope AllOutCool.com will become a place you can trust for solid information and reliable suppliers.

I'd like to thank the organizations and companies that have been so helpful in providing information for this website. I list some of them at the bottom of this page along with links to their sites.

If you are unable to find the outdoor cooling information you are looking for, please contact us. We will do what we can to get that information to you.

Sometimes the best solutions are not a matter of technical details but of opinion and preference. So we will be adding a forum so our visitors can share opinions, experience, questions and answers.

My goal is to make this a site where you can learn about ALL outdoor cooling options in one place and be able to compare them -- to use that information to make wise use and purchase decisions that you will feel confident about and happy with.

Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you will everything you need to find the best outdoor cooling solutions for YOU.
